Let’s be real – what’s better than cooking up a tasty lunch (showcasing our products, of course) with the members of your team? Before you answer that question, Shelby decided it would be a great and fun team-bonding activity that really emphasizes Soom Foods’ culture. I couldn’t agree more.
To kick things off, our Director of Logistics, Emil, combined two fantastic recipes that incorporate tahini in various ways. He decided to make what he calls “Crispy Tahini Tenders with Tahini Ranch.” It consisted of tahini, panko-encrusted fried chicken tenderloins atop a garden salad topped with tomatoes, avocado, and tahini vegan ranch.
We used a tahini ranch dressing recipe, adapted from a recipe created by Brooks Headley’s Superiority Burger. We also used Adeena Sussman‘s chicken breading recipe that is to die for that she features in The Tahini Edition (Volume 23) of the Short Stack collection.
To emphasize the meal’s yumminess, Emil kept repeating “mmm” after every single bite of his creation. We couldn’t stop laughing, but we couldn’t help but do it, too! The combination of these two items was ideal. The use of that ranch dressing with the chicken-tenders is finger-looking good. However, we were formal and ate with forks and knives.
