We are incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, first responders, technicians, hospital staff, and to all of those working tirelessly to contain the spread of the virus and care for those in need. Thank you for everything. And to the restaurants who remain open, who have been donating food to those selfless workers, we are so appreciative of you.
We’ve been brainstorming ways to support those existing efforts, help those going without meals, and creating awareness for our restaurant partners and their staff whose businesses have been affected.
Last week, we donated product to some of our restaurant partners who are making nutritious meals for hospital staff. We also donated to those teaming up with LEE Initiative, which has turned restaurants across the country into relief centers. To this day, local chefs have provided over 25,800 meals for unemployed restaurant workers!
We also donated Soom Silan to the Jewish Relief Agency, which serves over 6,000 low-income individuals across the Greater Philadelphia region by relieving hunger and strengthening the community, services especially needed during this time.
