This past weekend was the Philly Farm & Food Fest, which was held at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Although it was extremely hectic during the entirety of the fest, it was an incredible time. Vendors who we work with consistently stopped by our booth to reintroduce themselves and say hello. We were approached by current and new customers who wanted to learn more about Soom products.
There were 22 sponsors, 153 exhibitors, 6 “furry animals,” and 16 workshops! Curious to know the companies that took part in this fest? Click here to view each business and the different categories they fell into.
Remove featured imageAs you probably guessed, there were many foodies who attended this event. However, I was super surprised by the amount of individuals who were already familiar with tahini, let alone Soom! Many referenced the Zahav cookbook, in which we are featured. The fact that they remembered Soom brought so much nachas (joy) to me.
The fest was even greater because Jackie was also back in the States and worked alongside her sisters during the first few hours! Having her there to share the passion behind Soom was a wonderful way to introduce Soom to those who’ve never heard of it prior.
All in all, it was a marvelous time meeting new Soomies and sampling our products to hundreds and hundreds of interested individuals.
