This Summer Fling Cocktail tastes like summer in a glass. It’s a take on a Tom Collins, but rather than using simple syrup, we diluted our silan to bring you the most deliciously fresh, ever-so-slightly-sweet cocktail you’ll want to sip all summer long. Drink this cocktail by the pool or serve it at your summer barbecue. It’s a drink that you’ll be pleasantly surprised by, especially if you’re not the biggest fan of gin!

  1. Make the silan syrup. In a container, combine 1/2 cup Soom Silan and 1/4 cup hot water and stir until completely mixed. Use immediately or store and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
  2. In a shaker tin, combine 1 oz fresh lemon juice, 3/4 oz silan syrup, 2 oz gin, and ice.
  3. Shake vigorously and strain into a highball cocktail glass filled with ice.
  4. Finish with club soda and garnish with a mint leaf and a slice of lemon.
