This Tahini Mole Sauce is a great blend of spicy sweetness, thanks to the addition of Chocolate Soom! If you’re looking for a mole that doesn’t take 24+ hours to make, we recommend ours.

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp canola oil. Add 3 cloves of garlic that have been minced, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp cumin, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Stir and toast until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  2. Add 1 cup tomato puree, 1/2 cup chicken broth, 2 tbsp lime juice, 3/4 cup Chocolate Soom, 1 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper, stirring well to combine.
  3. Turn heat to low, and simmer 10 minutes. If the sauce is too thick, add water until the desired consistency is reached.
