- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp canola oil. Add 3 cloves of garlic that have been minced, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp cumin, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Stir and toast until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add 1 cup tomato puree, 1/2 cup chicken broth, 2 tbsp lime juice, 3/4 cup Chocolate Soom, 1 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper, stirring well to combine.
- Turn heat to low, and simmer 10 minutes. If the sauce is too thick, add water until the desired consistency is reached.
